CAMP FACILITIES: Our One-Week Campers sleep in rustic cabins and located nearby are clean, modern and newly renovated bathrooms with shower facilities and electricity. Lodges for Two-Week Campers are modern yet rustic-looking, 4300 square foot, two-story buildings that each house at least 48 campers and staff. CAMP FACILITIES: We have 5 cabins that sleep 32 maximum with bedrooms of 2 bunkbeds each and a common room in the middle. The Retreat Center is our most recently renovated building which also has a common room and a larger tiled room for activities. There is an outdoor pool, archery range, climbing tower, low ropes course, basketball court, volleyball court, large meeting hall, dining hall, hiking trail, and a mile of riverfront on the West River for kayaking, sailing, canoeing, and banana boating.
CAMP PROGRAM INFO: We are a United Methodist camp which is infused into the attitude of staff and the culture of the camp. We mix Bible study and worship with our outdoor recreational activities to give a rounded camp adventure. We have activity staff to lead our trained positions every summer and day camp counselors, most of our overnight counselors are volunteers from local communities and churches who come every year. We have been in operation on this site since 1951 and have continued to add to and adapt the camp to make the biggest impact on campers and staff. We want everyone who comes to West River to grow in their love of God, self, neighbor, and nature.
CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: We offer a CIT program for campers of at least 16 years of age, registration is on our website with the other camp programs.

FAMILY CAMP SESSION(S): Private Speed Training, Agility Training, and Cardiovascular Conditioning for young athletes ages 10 and up
YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS: Speed Training
Each session is a 1 hour, one or two days a week, sessions are conducted over a continuous 4 to 8 week period. This course designed to help athletes learn proper running mechanics. We use speed drills with particular emphasis on acceleration, coordination, balance development, body control, and first step quickness to reinforce the techniques learned. Each session breaks down a certain component that is necessary to build understanding of proper running mechanics.
Agility Training
Each session is a 1 hour, one or two days a week, sessions are conducted over a continuous 4 to 8 week period. Athletes learn proper agility basics. An emphasis is placed on lateral speed and multi-directional movement techniques that support actual sports movement patterns. These techniques are reinforced through agility drills run at full speed.

CAMP FACILITIES: We are located at Eastport Yacht Club, not your traditional blue blazer club. EYC is built on activity, on the water and ashore. Members are involved in diverse range of boating activities, supported by social events and strong camaraderie. Our Clubhouse offers a million-dollar view: the historic Annapolis skyline, Severn River, Naval Academy, Bay Bridge, Eastern Shore, and of course the Chesapeake Bay. The EYC calendar is full of social activities and worthwhile, high visibility events. It's mission statement includes support responsibility to youth development.
The clubhouse includes marina, showers, bar, restaurant and banquet facilities.
CAMP PROGRAM INFO: EYC is a Learn-to-Sail program which promotes lifelong friendships & boaters who appreciate the sport and the environment! Our program builds confidence, solid foundation skills, environmental awareness and includes STEM/environmental education, with progressive, engaging, fun curriculum.
We teach progressive skill levels from beginner to advanced in each fleet (ages 6-15), Jr. Big Boat, Bay Cruiser'/Adventure sailing, paddling, and power-boating sessions. EYC’s fleet includes Blue Dragon prams, Sunfish, RS Fevas (with asymmetrical spinnaker), Mistral Wind Gliders, J22 keelboats (+J70s, J80s, J30s) kayaks, paddleboards; Boston Whalers and RHB Zodiac powerboats. EYC runs a 9 week summer program, fall/spring after school, powerboat, adult, J22 team/match race team, and member access program.
Our instructors are US Sailing certified instructors and our program is National On-Water standards certified.

FAMILY CAMP SESSION(S): Learn to Sail as a Family!
Kids don't need to be the only ones having all the fun! This summer we are offering sessions to take lessons with your child and/or with other parents while your children are in another class. This option is offered to parents/grandparents/aunts/uncles with children age 8 and up. The program will be a Learn-to-Sail curriculum that teaches student the basics of boat handling, seamanship, safety, and teamwork. The curriculum will develop competence and confidence in our sailors in a safe and fun learning environment. The courses will mainly use our J22 keelboat fleet with options to try other boats (ability & size appropriate), and fleet of kayaks and paddleboards.
Children must be 8 yrs old and of course no age limit for 'Big Kids'. NOTE: 'Big Kids' need to register as well as child.
Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis with limited class sizes.
EYC members can continue to practice boating skills and fun with affordable and convenient way to get out on the water using our fleet of paddleboards, sailing dinghies, and keelboats through our Member Watercraft Access Program (WAP).

BRIEF CAMP DESCRIPTION: Located on the scenic Chester River, Camp Pecometh is a rustic overnight and day camp serving campers aged 5-17. Week-long programs include traditional, aquatic, and specialty activities which provide campers the opportunity to experience their faith in nature! Scholarships available.
SPECIAL NEEDS CAMPERS: One week during the summer, Pecometh offers a Summer Respite program, a camping experience to campers over 16 who are mentally and/or physically challenged. CAMP LOCATION: Pecometh is located on 275 acres right on the Chester River in Queen Anne's County, Maryland. We're approximately 45 minutes from Baltimore, just north of the Bay Bridge, and about 1 hour from Wilmington, DE.

CAMP FACILITIES: We have 4 cabin groups, or "hills," with 4-8 rustic cabins per hill, as well as 3 air-conditioned, dormitory-style buildings. All areas have access to multiple volleyball courts, basketball nets, our outdoor pool, and gaga pit. A modern dining hall and health center, along with rustic trading post, fellowship hall, and outdoor chapel are all located along the Chester River.
CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Camp Pecometh is proudly accredited by the American Camp Association (ACA). Established in 1946, we have been providing campers with life-changing, God-inspired experiences for over 70 years. Summer Camp sessions are typically five days in length, beginning on Sunday afternoon and ending after lunch on Fridays. Depending on the program, campers stay in rustic cabins or dorm-style facilities, and are supervised by our trained staff 24 hours a day.
All of our counselors are at least 18 years of age or graduated from high school and have received professional training, including First-Aid & CPR/AED certifications and bullying awareness and prevention training. Our Lifeguards are certified through the American Red Cross. There is a nurse on site at all times and the closest major hospital is less than 15 miles away. Our dining hall serves up tasty, nutritious meals and campers can have all they want, including fruit and salad bar at lunch and dinner.
CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: Pecometh offers a Staff-in-Training leadership program for participants who are completing 10th or 11th grade. This is an intensive 2-week program that includes hands-on leadership training and experience, and earns participants nearly 60 volunteer hours! CAMP SCHOLARSHIPS OR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: Pecometh offers a campership program for families in need of assistance. We also offer a grant program for campers who receive federal assistance. CAMP INSTRUCTIONAL ACTIVITIES OFFERED:
Sailing, Adventure, Swimming, Waterfront/Aquatics, Wilderness/Nature, Travel, Science, Horses/Equestrian, Fine Arts/Crafts, Music/Band, Dance, Theater, Soccer, Tennis, Team Sports, Basketball, and more. Rugby, Ultimate Frisbee, Lacrosse, Horse Camp, Christmas Session, Senior Camp
CAMP LOCATION: We are located on 140 acres of waterfront property on the Eastern Shore of Maryland's Chesapeake Bay. We have beach areas that overlook the Bay Bridge as well as forest trails, open fields, and a wooded cabin village. We are just 2 miles from the first exit off of US 50/301 E after you cross the Bay Bridge.
CAMP FACILITIES: We have 19 rustic cabins situated both on the waterfront and in the woods. Tennis, basketball and sand volleyball courts as well as soccer and softball fields are available for all campers' enjoyment. Our outdoor chapel, junior olympic swimming pool, and open air pavilion are great gathering places on hot summer days.
CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Camp Wright is an ACA accredited camp and is a ministry of the Episcopal Diocese of Easton. Founded in 1930, Camp Wright offers summer camps and other programs that develop children of all ages and backgrounds through living, recreating, singing and praying in an environment that promotes leadership and individual growth.
CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: We have leadership programs for both our Day and Resident campers. These programs include traditional camp activities along with teambuilding exercises, leadership skill development and offsite trips.
Day Camp offer a Leadership Adventure Program for 6th-8th graders.
Resident Camp offers Senior High Leadership, Senior High Adventure Camp, and Senior Camp Session for 9th-11th graders.
The Resident Camp also offers a CIT program where teens who have completed 10th- 11th grade choose two weeks during the summer for their training. One week is spent working in the kitchen for half the day and the other half helping with programming for younger campers. The other week is spent in the cabin with campers and full time staff to really get a feel for what it is like to be counselor.

YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS: We have many events that happen at Camp Wright that are open to the community. Many area schools have field days here on property and the Christ Church Fall Fest is open to any one interested in crafts, music, food, and games for the family.
